    In several countries, the government invest lots of money in events which are usually beneficial for people and the environment.


   In the first case, citizens are benefited by this in an economical and social way. First, sellers are benefited by these events because the tourists come to events and they sell more merchandise and earn more money. Second, locals know more people and with this they know new cultures and enriches their knowledge becoming more 
sociable. Final, those events help citizens because they open their world to new cultures and to a better life. 

    In the second case, due to these events the government spends money to maintain the cleanliness of the city which helps the environment. In addition, the city is clean and this makes the tourists always remember the place and the event which they attended and that makes them want to return. Consequently, the sightseers help to maintain the order and they also help to clean the place. Finally, the city looks clean and less polluted. 

    To conclude, mega events host by the government are a crucial tool to help the dwellers and the surroundings, thus it is not a waste of money.
